Our journey will begin in Johannesburg, where we'll explore some of South Africa's most famous attractions. We will take a tour through Soweto to learn about its history, then visit the apartheid museum to gain more insight into this era of tough segregation policies. After that, we will head out on safari and catch glimpses of some of South Africa's amazing wildlife like lions and elephants.
As we make our way through South Africa, we'll have plenty of time to explore the cities too. We'll take a city tour and check out Table Mountain, plus walk through Langa and Khayelitsha Townships to get a feel for life here. We also plan to visit Robben Island—where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned—for another perspective on the country's past struggles and triumphs over adversity.
